Knitted Fine Wool Zip Through Jacket

Our heavyweight (335g) merino hooded zipped jumper takes its name from Helios, Greek god of the sun. Made from pure Italian merino, we headed to Italy's oldest mills to source the finest yarns.

With long sleeves and two functional front pockets, we added armhole perforations to optimise the merino's thermo-regulating, moisture-wicking properties and thumbholes for comfort on colder days.

Designed to fit the pace of modern living, this breathable layer is ideal for crisp early morning runs or a comfortable base to wear heading to the gym after work. Pair with our men’s long sleeve merino training top  for a complete look.

Merino wool is a sustainable fabric choice for eco-conscious consumers shopping for activewear. Made from the wool of merino sheep it is both renewable and bio-degradable, and thanks to its natural properties it has a range of benefits which include

Wash care

Thanks to its antimicrobial properties which make it resistant to odour-producing bacteria, your merino activewear will not need to be washed as regularly. We recommend only washing when necessary, and spot cleaning any stains. You can refresh your garment between washes by gently steaming it or a quick hand wash in the sink with cool water.

*Why we use hand wash only merino wool

Machine-washable merino wool is treated with a heat-resistant plastic, which cracks as it is washed and tumble dried. Aggressive washing damages merino, causing the wool to pill more, lose its shape and appear worn quicker than caring for hand wash only fibres.

Overall, choosing hand wash only merino wool means items last longer and they’re more environmentally friendly.
